Route planning
Every year, about 15 million tons of dangerous goods are transported on Swedish roads and railways. About 75% of these are petroleum products. In order to reduce the risk of incidents and accidents and possible consequences linked to these, the work with route planning is an important tool.
Local traffic regulations
The Swedish county administrative boards are authorized to issue local traffic regulations to prohibit certain transport routes for dangerous goods within their geographical area. They may also recommend appropriate routes for these transports.
The Swedish Transport Agency regularly publishes this information on its website, together with other local traffic regulations.
You can find these on the Swedish Transport Agency's website.
